Beautiful sunbird

Saw this beautiful sunbird while I was at a nursery yesterday. I hurriedly dug my iPhone out of my bag to snap a picture of it. I daren't go too near in case it flew away. Zoomed in on the phone and thus a rather grainy picture. But it was beautiful nonetheless. The pretty yellow bird against the bright yellow flowers. Beautiful.

Aren't these beautiful?

Once upon a time.. Life

I'm so glad that I found these "Once upon a time.. Life" cartoon series. These were the cartoons that I loved when I was a kid. It is a cartoon series that teaches children about life processes in the body. As a biology teacher now, I can say that the facts in the cartoon are largely accurate. Of cos, there are little errors here and there, but they deliver the concepts really quite well!! The entire series showcases different process, ranging from conception to muscle action to immune response. A very interesting series!!

Enjoy this one on the immune system:

No smells, no mess. Just pretty nails! :)

I love red nails but I always have trouble painting them on my fingers cos they inevitably look real messy. It's usually either too thick or I'm too inpatient to wait for it to dry and end up getting scratches and wrinkles on them.

My sis gave me this Incoco dry nail appliqué that was easy to put on and there is simply no mess. Such a wonderful product!! Tho I have yet to find out how much they cost!!
