Haha, another speech/ vocabulary development of Kieran's. He is really starting to talk a lot more and we've begun to hear him construct phrases in the last few days. Now, instead of saying "No", he'll sometimes say "
No tans" (No thanks) when offered something. It is also quite funny that he now says "I" followed by some action words to express himself. E.g. "
I sit", " I drink". He also mimics a lot of our speech. When he completes a certain task, he'll now say "
Good job!" to himself because that is what we always say to him when he does something right.
However, he is still having a little trouble with the word "share". He thinks that "share" means the other person has to give the item to him. So he'll go "share, share" and crying when he wants something that someone else is holding. :(
We are really looking forward to more phrases from him!
